What did you like most about this instructor and course?

  1. Interesting class discussions, variety of assignments.
  2. His laid-back but professional attitude. Mueller is accepting of all ideas and finds ways to incorporate everything said.
  3. The structuring and rationale of the readings, as well as the nature of assignments.
  4. Subject matter was all new to me and very interesting. Instructor is very well prepared and provides a very stimulating and relaxed environment.
  5. The whole format of the class was put together very well. Our readings related well through the term and so did our discussions.
  6. The freedom to apply the course's lessons to almost any area of personal meaning to us.
  7. His humility and understanding when concepts were difficult to grasp; his breadth of knowledge about the course themes, theory and applications; his kindness and willingness to work with us if deadlines were difficult or had other concerns.

What did you dislike most about this instructor and course?

  1. I really can't think of anything. A very positive experience all around.
  2. Nothing, really. If I had to choose I'd say we might have used a project earlier on. As is, nothing was "due" until midway through.
  3. Maybe that more reading and writing were not required.
  4. I didn't care for the group note-taking.
  5. I disliked the notes part of the class, only because it was hard to follow. But they were nice to look over before class.
  6. Some components were a bit too open-ended and vague.
  7. Didn't have anything I disliked.

What constructive suggestions do you have for this instructor or course?

  1. Sorry, I've got nothing. Keep up the good work!
  2. See above. Course felt a little back-end heavy, but overall I enjoyed it!
  3. Assign more reading, and reduce the total grade value of the chronography.
  4. More writing--only because I would like more written exploration of the concepts studied in shorter chunks.
  5. I can't even think of one.
  6. Have slightly clearer goals for specific assignments.
  7. I think he's doing great!!
